Gandalf the White

Gandalf the gray with a long gray beard
made great fire works, only Sauron he feared.
He helped bear a great burden, helped show Frodo the way.
He led the Fellowship through Moria so they could see the day.
He battled the Balrog and finally won.
His time as "the gray" was finally done.
He strayed out of thought and he strayed from mind.
Then he returned, of a new kind.
He no longer was gray, he was a great sight.
Now he was known as Gandalf the white.
